I am Pregnant!
When a woman is in her early stages of pregnancy, it can confuse others and potentially embarrass her as well. Is she pregnant or just gaining weight? Help these women announce their pregnancy with bold t-shirts that let the world know she's carrying a baby, not extra weight.
Pregnant women are always in search of new clothes that fit their changing bodies, and t-shirts are a comfortable and affordable addition to the mom's-to-be wardrobe! A T-shirt can expand an expecting woman's wardrobe AND expand with their ever-expanding mid-section. You can sell the t-shirts for about $30 each in a wide variety of colors with large or small slogans or images.
Make sure that you offer your customers many options of sleeve lengths, from tank top t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, and the classic t-style shirt. Your customer will want to be able to wear your product through more than one season. Many pregnant women tend to become over-heated easily and tank top t-shirts are sometimes hard for them to find outside of the summer season. Be sure to include images of these t-shirts worn under business suits or jackets to remind these moms-to-be of the versatility of your product.
The best way to reach your busy soon-to-be-moms is online. Most women in search of your terrific new product will have Internet access at home or at their place of employment and most maternity clothes currently on the market offer little in the way of style or individuality. You can create your own creative designs using programs like Adobe Photoshop. Include words or images relating to motherhood, sleep deprivation, giving up coffee or alcohol, nurturing, waiting, babies, or just write a funny or sarcastic slogan in a fun font. A little imagination can go a long way!
Take advantage of companies that will print the designs on the t-shirts for you, as well as handle the shipping and invoicing. This will let you devote more time to creating new designs and take a lot of the hassle out of the transaction, for both you and your customers. Some companies will let you offer a wide selection of sizes, sleeve lengths, fabric thickness, and colors. Be sure to offer some t-shirts with no slogan as well. The more choices you offer to your customers, the better.
You may also want to offer your customers the option of contacting you directly with new ideas for images or slogans. Some women look for specific styles or designs when shopping online. This will give you ideas for new products AND keep your customer satisfaction high!
Use Google's Adwords on your website to create even more potential earnings. You can also add widgets to a new blog that will link them directly to your product and help them pay using a service like paypal. You can also sign up for online maternity discussion groups to get the word out there that you have a fun new product for moms-to-be!
