If you are not sure exactly what a true vegetarian is; it is a belief or practice of people that choose not to use the flesh of any animal (including water or sea animals) in any way. There are many different reasons why people choose to be Vegetarians, some including religious, cultural, ethical, environmental, social, economic, and health concerns. Whatever the reasons, many people practice this choice and we could offer a website just for them to use and enjoy. According to surveys in the United States, they have found that roughly, 1-2.8% of adults eat no meat, poultry, or fish. This means that there is a huge population that could have a great deal of interest in becoming members of a website just for vegetarians.
As noted earlier Vegetarianism is more than just what food they eat - it is a part of their lifestyle. Setting up an informational website just for them offering articles, tips, ideas, affiliate products, recipes, and more could be the basis for a membership site that could be popular and successful. You should charge about $100 per year, or $10 a month, for a membership.
Make sure that you also offer a forum on your website where vegetarians can discuss various topics. This is an excellent way for people to express their feelings on certain issues, which others may share with them and a way to make new friends with similar lifestyles and interests.
This will require you to keep up with all the issues and articles in other parts of the media brought up on a regular basis and take care of your website, so that it will always be on top of these new ideas and news worthy issues that are coming up on a daily basis.
Always offer new and exciting recipes on a regular basis too. Just like most people, we are stuck with the same old recipe ideas, and are constantly looking for something new and tasty. This can be a fun idea to encourage your members to share in also, offering prizes for the best recipes, and/or, letting other members vote.
