Organics For The Bottom

Organics For The Bottom

Now that we are in a new century that has it's own set of problems, we see that global warming is, and will be, a concern for quite some time. This leads to people being more aware of the need to go back to consuming organic forms of products. Be among the first to start offering a product that you can be sure will be needed, and maybe eventually required, in our future. As long as there are babies being born, the need for diapers will exist. Organic diapers will be the diapers of the future and now.

The typical organic diaper should be made from an organic form of cotton. Old-fashioned diapers were made from a chemically whitened form of soft cotton, but this isn't what you would consider organic. Organic cotton is grown without pesticides and chemicals used on it. This is important, not only during the growing process, but also after picking and during processing.

Disposable diapers do not biodegrade very well, but organic ones would. Disposable diapers are still the way to go when it comes to ease of use, and clean up. Because of this, you will need to offer diapers that will come from an organic source, but also be disposable if it is possible. This could be a real challenge, but if you are able to design them, or find a source to acquire them, you will be able to sell a lot.

Old-fashioned cotton diapers were usually sold by the dozen many years ago, so you may want to offer them per dozen, depending on how expensive they may be. A newborn can easily go through 3 dozen diapers a week, so most parents will want to make a large investment in diapers before baby arrives.

This would be a great product to sell on the Internet if you have, or choose too, open a web store. Offering organic baby items in any form will be good to sell along with the diapers too. If you are able to reach customers that are searching out organic diapers, more than likely they will look for other items that they want their baby to have also. You could offer bibs, clothing, shoes, hair items, blankets, sheets, stuffed toys etc; all made with organic products.

Since this is a rather new way of raising babies, you might also want to offer articles and books that encourage the use of organic products. You might even offer a small booklet with each purchase that you can print and put together yourself on how to care for your organic products without using harmful chemicals to clean them. Offering organic diaper creams and lotions could be a good idea too.
